| 1.1 | Areas to receive installation must be water tight, clean and free from all loose material. |
| 1.2 | The area to receive flooring must be adequately lit. |
| 1.3 | The work of all other trades should be completed prior to the start of flooring installation. |
| 1.4 | The ideal temperature range for installing Altro safety flooring utilizing Altrofix 30 adhesive is between 18 degrees C to 28 degrees C. |
| 1.5 | The minimum installation temperature for Altrofix 30 adhesive is 7 degrees C. Should the adhesive be used at these low temperatures precautions must be taken to prevent indentations or other damage until the adhesive has cured or set. The material must remain in place in the adhesive until it has set. The time, depending on temperature can be up to 72 hours (ie. the lower the temperature the slower the curing time). |
| 1.6 | Should it be required to install above 28 degrees C, it is imperative that the flooring is in place before the adhesive sets (ie. the higher the temperature the faster the curing time). |
