Adhesives

2.1	For all areas that are subject to high spillages of water, either by its environment or daily maintenance requirements is to be classed as 'wet' type installations. For these, and those areas that are subject to high traffic the adhesive shall be Altrofix 30, a non-toxic, solvent free 2-part polyurethane adhesive. Applied as a full spread to the total floor surface area.
2.2	For all 'dry' type installations the adhesive shall be an approved Acrylic type adhesive applied as a full spread to the total floor surface as recommended by the relevant adhesive manufacturer. However we strongly recommend that Altrofix 30 be used whenever possible.
2.3	For all vertical wall coving and most PVC accessories, an approved neoprene or solvent based contact adhesive shall be used. The approved contact adhesive shall be applied to appropriate areas following manufacturer recommendations, open times and spread rates.
2.4	Always mix and apply adhesives with strict accordance to manufacturers directions on container label and as stated elsewhere.
2.5	Practice safety precautions as listed on container label and that of the material safety data sheet.
