Wolper is the only hospital in the southern hemisphere to have a full service fresh cook Kosher kitchen. Altro and Willobee Floor Service Sales worked closely with the hospital on designing a unique design which would be contributive to the methodology used for cooking at Wolper. We utilised our coloured flooring and coordinating Altro Whiterock panels to identify the different zones for the meat kitchen, milk kitchen and neutral zones of the kitchen.
The Altro Whiterock Chameleon panels have added a splash of colour, which they have been successfully utilising to write instructions or motivational quotes, using chalk markers.
Not only does the Altro solution provide all the safety, hygiene and cleanability a kitchen requires but also a form of creativity in colour, design and functionality. This also assists how people perceive the environment in the “way-finding” method.
